JV Poltava Oil and Gas Company Helps Poltava Region Fight Coronavirus

April 7, Poltava – JV PPC has funded the purchase of medical equipment and personal protective equipment for medical personnel of the Poltava region.

The management of the Novosanzharsky and Mashevsky district councils of the Poltava region asked for the necessary help. In addition, the company purchased and personally donated protective disposable suits, medical glasses, protective gloves, as well as medical masks and respirators.

The problem with providing physicians with personal protective equipment is urgent, since it is difficult to provide all medical facilities in sufficient quantities with the necessary funds. Therefore, today the role of private business in the fight against a pandemic is extremely high. We are grateful to the JV PPC company for taking a responsible position and helping to maintain the health of the people of the Poltava region, ”commented Olga Girya, the head physician of the Novosanzharsky central district hospital.

JV PPC has always been a part of the Poltava region community, and not staying away from problems and actively joined in solving them. In a difficult time for the whole country, in front of the threat of Covid-19, our company also decided to help and support the doctors, they are today “at the forefront” of the fight against the epidemic. We have already transferred assistance for several hundred thousand hryvnias and are in communication with the Poltava Regional State Administration for additional assistance, ”said Victor Gladun, General Director of JV PPC.

Last year, the company donated charitable assistance for projects worth more than 2 million hryvnias. In addition, part of the taxes and rents paid by the company goes to the local and regional budgets of the Poltava region.
