Practical experience for oil and gas students: JV PPC trains future specialists in the oil and gas industry

March 4, Poltava – at the JV Poltava Petroleum Company (hereinafter – JV PPC) students of National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic» completed their practical training.

JV PPC has traditionally cooperated with Poltava Polytechnic in the field of future specialists training in the oil and gas industry.

Our goal is to ensure the development of the oil and gas industry through cooperation with specialized educational institutions for high-quality training of first-class specialists.

Two 4-year undergraduate students in Poltava Polytechnic`s special fiels of Environmental Protection Technologies and Oil and Gas Engineering underwent practical training at JV PPC in order to expand their qualifications.

The students got acquainted with the key processes of the oil and gas company from the permits preparation in the field of production to the very process of extracting hydrocarbons from wells, separator operation, storage and transportation of hydrocarbons.

“National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic» highly appreciates the cooperation with JV PPC and expresses gratitude for the involvement of our students in the company’s production practical processes. This is an extremely important practical experience for our future specialists ”, said Julia Chukhlib, senior lecturer of Poltava Polytechnic`s Department of Oil and Gas Engineering and Technologies.

“The company is open to future specialists, we are glad to share our experience and best practices, and it is important for us to be a partner of the Poltava community, including cooperation with specialized local educational institutions,”, said Lyudmila Khomich, legal adviser on environmental issues at JV PPC.

After successfully completing their studies, graduates of National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic» can continue to work in the company in the presence of vacancies and recommendations of their immediate supervisors.
