Poltava Petroleum Company Joins Ukrainian LPG Association

Kyiv, March 20, 2018 – Poltava Petroleum Company (PPC) joins as the newest member of the Ukrainian LPG Association (ULPGA). The news was officially announced during the Association’s assembly held on March 19.

“ULPGA membership enables us to cooperate with other market participants to promote transparent and clear business conditions for the LPG market in Ukraine. We are convinced that PPC will be able to make a significant contribution to the Association’s work, as our specialists possess considerable expertise in this sector,” commented Victor Gladun, General Director of Poltava Petroleum Company.

PPC has 24 years of experience in oil and gas sector, and has worked in the LPG market since 2011. PPC was the first privately owned company to construct a plant for deep extraction of LPG. Moreover, the company has its own laboratory for analysis of liquefied gas; this year, the company received a certificate of conformity to EN 589:2017, which confirms that LPG produced by PPC meets EU standards, as previously reported on its website.

“The Association welcomes the membership of PPC and believes that the company’s experience will be a precious asset for our professional community in creating a competitive market for LPG in Ukraine ” said Stanislav Batratchenko, General Director of the ULPGA.

The Ukrainian LPG Association was established in 2007 as an industry association for development of LPG in Ukraine. The Association provides recommendations to laws and regulatory acts aimed at developing the LPG market in Ukraine and facilitating implementation of international fuel quality standards, transparency and competitiveness.
