JV PPC laboratory has received national accreditation for testing the quality of liquefied gas

December 22, 2020, Kiev – JV Poltava Petroleum Company (hereinafter referred to as JV PPC) has accredited its own testing laboratory in accordance with national standards and can now provide liquefied gas conformity assessment services.

The testing laboratory received an accreditation certificate from the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine (hereinafter – NAAU) in the field of activity “testing liquefied petroleum gas by physical and chemical indicators” in accordance with the requirements of the ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 standard.

Obtaining this accreditation means that the testing laboratory of JV PPC has the right to check the quality of liquefied gas in accordance with the indicators of the Ukrainian standard, which at the same time meets the requirements of the European standard and issue quality passports using national accreditation marks. This complies with the requirements of the “Technical Regulations on the requirements for Liquefied Gas for automobile transport of public utilities and industrial purposes”. Also, the laboratory is ready to provide certification services.

As a reminder, the Poltava Petroleum Company is the first private producer of liquefied gas in Ukraine. PPC built its own LPG plant in 2011.
