JV PPC employees take part in a charity football tournament among extractive industry companies

The football team of Poltava Petroleum Company (JV PPC) participated in the annual charity tournament for representatives of the extractive industry. This year, nine teams competed for the cup, united by a common goal – to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. All funds raised during the event were donated to one of the combat units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“Each year, the level of competition increases. This time we finished in sixth place, but we fought until the final whistle. Most importantly, we contributed to supporting our defenders,” said the РРС football team captain Serhiy Maliarenko.

The company actively supports sports initiatives both within the team and in the local communities. In April 2025, PPC employees took part in the Kyiv Invincibility Half Marathon, and in September 2024, the company organized a mini-football tournament for teams from the oil and gas sector.

Local communities also benefit from this focus on sports. PPC helped build a mini-football field in the village of Nekhvoroshcha and has repeatedly provided sports equipment to the Novosanzhary Lyceum. These initiatives are part of the company’s broader approach to promoting sports, healthy lifestyles, and community development.
