Poltava, 16 April – JV Poltava Petroleum Company (PPC) has taken part in a volunteer cleanup event at the Andriivka residential school. On 13 April, at the invitation of the Andriivka general education residential school, the PPC team from the Poltava, Poltava Oblast, and Kyiv offices visited the school and participated in tidying the green recreation area for residential school students.
PPC provided its own machinery to clean the territory. Together with the school administration staff, the PPC employees planted trees, cleaned the territory and tidied a flower bed. The event ended with traditional cossack kasha made according to PPC’s recipe. Oksana Borsuk, the Headmistress of the school, thanked the PPC team for cooperation.
Viktor Gladun, the General Director of JV PPC, commented on the participation in the event as follows: “Such volunteer cleanup events have already become a tradition for us, and we are happy to continue it. The Company has been operating in Novi Sanzhary Raion for 25 years already, i.e. since its foundation. Throughout all this time we have been contributing to the development of the Raion with taxes and social projects. It is particularly important to help children, they are our future!”
It is worth reminding that PPC adheres to the principles of socially responsible business – the Company cooperates with the Poltava region communities where it operates, based on social agreements, tax payment and social projects. Since 1994, the Company has donated USD 10 mln for charity and social projects.
