Poltava Petroleum Company Supports International Street Music Day
Poltava, May 22, 2018. – Poltava Petroleum Company (PPC) joined the European Music Festival and became a partner of international music volunteer project – Street Music Day, held in Poltava on Saturday, May 19, 2018.
Street Music Day gathered music lovers at four different locations – on the stages near the White Arbor, in Petrovsky Park, Sonyachnyi Park and on the “Your Space“ stage. Music genres ranged from rock and folk to hip-hop and jazz, and visitors were impressed by performances of different musical groups – A4, AndrJazz, Slam Bang Band, Oneyroid and others.
The idea of holding Street Music Day belongs to the Lithuanian musician Andrius Mamontovas. Since launching the event in 2007, Latvia, Ireland, Great Britain, Georgia, Belgium and other countries have joined it over the last 11 years. This year Street Music Day was held in Ukraine for the fifth time. PPC is pleased to support initiatives endorsing creative talents and cheering up both Poltava citizens and city guests.
