The JV PPC Records in 2009

JV Poltava Petroleum Company, one of the largest independent companies engaged in hydrocarbon production in Ukraine, achieved the following results in 2009:
- it produced 176,400 tons of oil and 456,800,000 cubic metres of gas.

The Company drilled 6 wells, completed 12 workovers and performed stimulation treatments in 8 wells.

The Company ran:
- 3D seismic over Rudenkovskoye, 40 sq. km
- 2D seismic in Rudenkovskoye and Ignatovskoye, 30 km

The total length of pipelines laid during the period under review is over 60 km.

The Company placed in operation:
- K-200 compressor
- Generator (2 MW)
- Additional manifolds
- Filling station for technological transport.

Over the reporting period, the Company attracted investments to the amount of UAH 318,178,000.
Income from sales (VAT inclusive) amounted to UAH 712,000,000 for oil and UAH 1,059,000,000 for gas.

Profit before tax amounted to UAH 1,083,100,000; the Company as a taxpayer paid taxes and fees total of UAH 543,466,000.

The Company donated over USD 3,000,000 to charity projects as part of the Company's corporate policy on social responsibility of the business.

JV Poltava Petroleum Company was awarded with the decoration "Leader in the Industry" by the National Business Rating and Tim Kaunov, the PPC General Director, was recognized as the best executive officer in the TOP-100 Rating "Best Top-Managers of Ukraine".

JV Poltava Petroleum Company has a high reputation in the market introducing strategic management system and implementing efficient anti-crisis arrangements and plans to expand production capacity.
