FAQ: Natural Gas
1. Question: Do I need to come to the competitive bidding?
Answer: No, you needn’t as the competitive bidding is held via the Internet
2. Question: what is the starting price?
Answer: the starting price will be indicated in the invitation to competitive bidding to be sent to the client registered in the data base on the moment of publication in the system of the information on the competitive bidding, or on the day of the competitive bidding. JV PPC can suggest that clients determine the starting price themselves. The price is determined following the calls for bids for competitive biddings.
3. Question: What minimum and maximum volume of natural gas can be purchased at the competitive bidding?
Answer: Minimum volume of natural gas, which can be purchased at the competitive bidding, equals to 100,000 (one hundred thousand) m3. The maximum volume, which can be purchased, is the volume offered for sale. If the bidding client has no history of contractual relationship with JV PPC, the Company reserves the right to offer such a client 30% of the total volume offered for sale.
4. Question: How is the feedback achieved? How is the initial bid receipt confirmed?
Answer: The feedback is only via e-mail and the Internet resource https://e-trade.ppc.net.ua.
6. Question: Is it possible to join the bidding at the final stage when the final price is known and purchase a required volume at the specified price?
Answer: Yes, if there is a volume left unsold.
7. Question: Does the price depend upon volume?
Answer: No.
8. Question: How many times a month are the competitive biddings held and what are the total monthly sales?
Answer: There are two types of sales: biddings to sell planned volumes of natural gas and biddings to sell actual volumes of gas. The biddings to sell planned volume of natural gas are held in the latter half of the month preceding the delivery month but not earlier than on the 20th day of the month. The biddings to sell actual volumes of natural gas are held at the beginning of the month following the month of delivery.
9. Question: What are the payment terms and conditions?
Answer: 100% prepayment shall be effected within the term specified in the invitation to bid and in accordance with the term specified in the bidding data posted on the system site.
10. Question: Can a long-term contract with a fixed volume for some months be signed and the price specified in the amendment agreement to the above mentioned contract (according to the bidding results)?
Answer: No, to date long-term contracts are not signed.
